Mental Health Awareness Week 2019

In the lead up to Mental Health Awareness Week, we have planned a range of talks and events which will be free to attend. Many of us feel stress on a daily basis and sometimes it can be difficult to remain positive. Whatever your situation or occupation, we should all take some time to reflect on what we can do improve our own mental health and wellbeing.

Monday 5:30-6:30pm
The Yoga Revolution – Mind Stuff
Using the approach of yogic philosophy, we will explore what it is to be human. All it takes is the knowledge of a few basic truths to start you on the path to victory other the mind and ego, covering the following topics:
1. The human has an insatiable nature and thirst for limitlessness – what can satisfy this unquenchable thirst?
2. Self enquiry – who is the one who questions the thoughts.|
3. Permenant identity – at the core of all beings lies a permenant unchanging truth beyond body, thought, emotions and attributes
